Matterport alternatives for office buildings fall into four types: 360 tours from panoramic photos (Kuula, CloudPano, 3DVista, Panoee), camera or scanner capture with measured floor plans (iGUIDE, NavVis), construction documentation (Cupix, OpenSpace) and 3D viewers built from floor plans (Visedra). If the office is finished and you want to show it as it really is, choose a 360 tour or a capture. If the floor is empty, under construction or you want to compare layouts, a 3D viewer built from plans shows what cannot be photographed yet.
We are an interested party: Visedra makes 3D viewers from floor plans. That is why we describe the other options only by their type, with no prices or ratings, and link their official websites at the end.
Matterport alternatives by type of solution
Matterport scans the space as it is. Its alternatives are not all the same kind of tool: some show what already exists and others solve a different problem. The table groups them by what they show and what they need.
| Type of solution | Examples | What it shows | Needs a visit to the property? | Works before the fit-out? | Several layouts | Building and surroundings |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 360 tour from panoramic photos | Kuula, CloudPano, 3DVista, Panoee | The space as it is on the day of the photos, from the points where they were taken | Yes, to take the photos | No, it shows the current state | No, unless the images are edited separately | Whatever is photographed |
| Camera or scanner capture with measured floor plans | iGUIDE, NavVis | The existing space, captured on site, with plans drawn from the capture | Yes, for the capture | No, it documents what exists | No | Whatever is captured |
| Construction documentation | Cupix, OpenSpace | The progress of the works, captured on visits throughout the job | Yes, on every site visit | It records the works in progress, not the finished result | No | Whatever is captured on site |
| 3D viewer built from floor plans | Visedra | A recreation of the building and its floors as they will be, empty or furnished | No, plans, photos or the listing are enough | Yes | Yes, on the same link | Yes, the building with its street and surroundings |
The table describes each type of solution in general. Every product has its own features and terms: check them on its official website before you decide.
When to choose each
- 360 tour from panoramic photos: the office is finished and well presented, and you want to show exactly how it looks today.
- Camera or scanner capture with measured floor plans: the space exists and, besides showing it, you need plans of what is there.
- Construction documentation: you need to record how the works progress while the job lasts.
- 3D viewer built from floor plans: the floor is empty, under construction or awaiting refurbishment, you want to compare layouts or show the whole building in its setting.
When not to choose Visedra
If the space is finished and what you want to show is its real condition, with its finishes and its light, a 3D viewer built from plans is not the best choice: it is a recreation and does not replace a photo of the real space. A 360 tour or a capture fits better there. It does not replace a measured survey or technical documentation either.
How to combine a 360 tour with 3D from floor plans
You do not have to pick just one. The 360 tour shows the finished interior as it is; the 3D from plans shows what the tour cannot: the furnished floor, another layout or the building seen from the street.
- If you already have a 360 tour, there is no need to redo it: we build only the missing part.
- Put both links on the same listing, each one with what it shows.
- The 3D marks what exists and what is a proposal, so nobody mistakes a proposed layout for the current state.
What a Visedra viewer includes
- A 3D viewer of the building, its floors or both, built from plans, photos or the listing. A PDF of the plans is enough.
- Its own link, which opens in the browser on a phone or computer, with no apps to install.
- Up to 3 rounds of changes and 12 months of hosting.
- From €149 + VAT. Delivery from 24 hours for the simplest projects; the final price depends on the scope and you get it in writing before we start.
- The examples on this site are concept demos designed by Visedra, not real properties.
Before you order anything
If you own the building or hold the leasing mandate, we prepare a free sample of its exterior in 3D with its surroundings, on a private link.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Matterport alternative for offices?
It depends on what you want to show. If the office is finished, a 360 tour or a scanner capture shows its real condition. If the floor is empty, under construction or you want to compare layouts, a 3D viewer built from floor plans shows what cannot be photographed yet.
Can I show an office without scanning it?
Yes. A 3D viewer is built from the plans, photos or listing, without visiting the property or using 360 cameras. It is a recreation, not a photo of the real space.
Can I use a 360 tour and a 3D viewer together?
Yes. The 360 tour for the finished interior and the 3D for the building or the layouts, both linked from the same listing.
How much does a Visedra 3D viewer cost?
From €149 + VAT, delivered from 24 hours for the simplest projects. It includes up to 3 rounds of changes and 12 months of hosting.
Are the Visedra examples real properties?
No. They are concept demos designed by Visedra to show how it works. The viewer does not replace a measured survey or technical documentation.
